this has been mentioned in other threads. I agree this is a bug. it *used to work*, but then it stopped (in beta 11?) But if i can magically teleport cargo from the surface of a planet into my hold, i fail to see why i couldn't teleport the cargo around the ship (via the cargo screen) like i used to...

There are discussions like this about the handheld scanner.. I think this raises a good point.

There should totally be an upgrade to ship scanners (or higher levels have greater item detection) or a talent or something that adds abilities like that to the ship's scanner.

I'm looking forward to there just being ships i can buy. maybe a new starbase type like Shipyard? or maybe just Repair despots can print out the ship i wanna buy (since I can teleport over there anyway), selling my ship may have it deprinted, and the new one printed out. at least until Shipyards are...

Had this problem on an outrider one night.

We narrowed it down to being a fire behind engineering we couldn't see/reach.

the devs have said repeatedly that this game is geared toward the co-op experience, alas. The split-crew thing works, but doesn't include warp. I'm hoping this changes as they get closer to the Dedicated LAN Server feature, I hope it's a galaxy server, and crews can log in and crew ships in the gala...
