On that note, I'd love to be able to roll the ship. Something like Shift+E to roll right and Shift+Q to roll left would be awesome.

When you have the chat box open and press R, you will type R but also exit/enter a turret or pilot station.

EDIT: Using space all causes the sectors to show up when piloting and using the chat box.

The piloting screen is totally blanked out, so I can't seem to pilot the ship. also, can confirm being under attack immediately.

EDIT: Also, disconnecting and reconnecting to a game will cause a second instance of the sound track to start looping over the first.

I was wondering why pressing T teleported me to another ship and why I couldn't pilot either one. The music is great!

I'm super excited to play, however I think my first objective will be to try to crash the game as much as I can. It's not just time to play the game, but also time to put it to the test.

I can't recall ever seeing a game that lets you toggle between several different shadow options other than on/off/high/med/low, so I really like the option to turn some on or off. The drones looks interesting too. The smaller one appears to be a flying laser canon.

I like the progressive subsystem damage. I'm curious if there will be reasons other than repairs to go into the subsystem-specific rooms (such as life support).
