Have you ever piloted? If not you can see the different jump points fly by while jumping, for me that gives me the sense of scale.

if its already possible right now, to just travel (thrust) between nodes. then this makes pulsar a trully open world, and not instance based. and in this case, the long distance between nodes is easily fixed. make the ditance less long and travelable ! like (5min of traveil max) and maybe put some ...

I think it's like Elite Dangerous, where you can fly between them but nobody has the time to do so.

Tension so you have to think, I need to go there ASAP or I might waste time. End game you're supposed to go to The Lost Colony not stay around farm for some loot which I like, it makes you deal with the cards you're dealt with.

If this game gets popular enough it'll be virtually impossible to stop modding, it's what happens with every game with the potential to add more content.
