You could give a second option that when you have captured the relevant screens and ready to "claim ship", make a second option to "abandon ship". Yup, the X Button manual controls gave me everything I needed.

Still need a dead zone though for extremely sensitive controls.

I believe piloting controls need an overhaul. Specifically with Pitch. There are no pitch controls. I'll write up a detailed post so the devs can program it.

I agree with this in the notion of "Fixtures." The fixtures could be small, medium, and large. You could have small reactors and large reactors. A shield Generator that maybe only fits in a large fixture and takes up larger wattage.

I see the logic in this.
