A ship intercom system and local chat wouldn't be that viable without multiple crews and/or people being allowed to be in sectors without the ship. Roleplay has been suggested recently and will be looked at when characters get another update, but no guarantees. I'm not sure what you mean by security...

Gotta make sure to check, but did you hit the detonate button after launch? Other than that, I don't really know how to help. What ship were you using when you first found this out, and by extension did you try this and find it on any other ships? Did you maybe hijack the ship you were using?

Indeed, it appears that the AI currently cannot use coolant. I set the priority to 0 when the reactor temp was greater than 50% instead, but to no avail.

Making a text-based customization wouldn't be the way to go in my opinion. Those not experienced with coding, no matter how simple, are likely to misunderstand certain phrases or how to create blocks and such. Those who do learn may come up with errors resulted from improper format or spelling, but ...
