Blender small ship WIP

Post by Grizzly » Wed Nov 04, 2015 1:32 pm

Hi, all.
This is actually my very first Post here.
So I found the thread about the Fanprojekt from "DeadWeight4U", and I was completely hooked up. So I decided to start my own Projekt. I will use Blender for modelling, though I´m everything else than good at it, so every bit of feedback will be seen with joy on my side(learning by doing). Here is a pic, about a little older state, but sadly not too much changed since then:

Some more pics will come later.

I´m not so sure about the reaktor and the ceiling, and the Cockpit is still a heavy WIP, but I do like the rest of it so far.
Greetings, Grizzly

BTW: Right now I´m at about 12.000 Polygons, but because I´m still a noob in modeling, I have no clue, what´s an appropiate threshold for this.

Looks nice, but there is one thing. Wouldn't it be hard to fly into the repair station with that broad Ship or do you fly it sideways in?^^
You can add me on Steam, but keep in mind that I might delet you if there is no answer coming from you.
To much hackers are around who add randomly people. Send me a message with reason why you added me ;)

OMG, didn´t think about that one! Having a Nano-active-hull might be an idea...
Edit: I eyeballed it, and I don´t think it should have any problems flying in the repair bay. It´s actually supposed to not be that much bigger than the light Frigatte.

The Link in your first post is corrupted.
Its pretty hard for me to get a feeling of the ship out of your Pictures. Would you like to send me your model so i could look over it?
