HOTAS Camera View Conflict

Post by justinjah91 » Mon Feb 22, 2021 11:50 pm

Bug Report
OS: Windows 10
Game Version: Beta 30.3
Date and Time Encountered (DD/MM/YY, HH:MM (12h format)): 22/02/21, 09:39 PM US Central
Possible Conflicting Software (such as firewalls and anti-virus): None
Severity: Annoying
Description of Bug: The FPP view x/y and look x/y panning controls cannot be set to the same thing, otherwise neither works (see screenshot)
Steps to Reproduce: Try using the hat switch on a HOTAS to control view
Possible Workaround: I set FPP view to a different joystick (joystick 7) so that I can change my camera angle when in the external view
Screenshots and/or Video:
Notes: In the above screenshot, you can see that I have the FPP view x/y set to joystick 7, while look x/y are set to joystick (all). This effectively means that I can move the camera in any camera mode except first person. This isn't a huge issue, as I don't usually fly first person, but it would be nice to be able to move the camera when I do.
Hardware Configuration:

CPU: AMD Ryzen 4600H
GPU: Nvidia GTX 1650
Motherboard: HP Pavilion 570 Slimline 270 Series Intel Socket LGA1151
