Having a bandit ship/s in an orbit of a planet teleporting down attacking a village or a base.
You can destroy the ship to stop the invasion, then having to clear out the area of metal/ alien bandits
or you can head down to the planet and clear the bandits there then try and claim their ship of components
This can be a way to divide the crew to destory the ship/s and the stopping the bandits on the planet.
You can make it a timed event before the bandits breach the base or launch an orbital attack onto the base.
