Just been wondering if the developers have had any ideas for physical manipulation of other bodies, e.g. ships, asteroids, and any others.
I think the idea of having to rescue and perhaps tow a motionless ally as a mission is always a good test of navigation and pilot skills, perhaps with some way of restricting thrust and having to account for the inertia of the towed body.
Also, since seeing the clip of the turret being able to push asteroids, I like the idea of perhaps using asteroids as a physical weapon to knock an enemy ship off course and even cause damage. Tractor beams or other towing devices would make this an interesting battle tactic to mix up from the use of weapons.
