Ship Repairs/Alterations

Post by KaiNu » Sun Jul 05, 2015 12:08 am

When the player(s) ship is being repaired or having new components installed, there is a major feature for immersion that could be implemented; while the ship is being altered it takes time to be functional again, therefore forcing players to interact with hubs and maybe even planets/stations. This would also allow them to discover new items or missions as well as strengthen the bond of the crew itself.

Yeah I think that would a really good idea to help add to the immersion to the game, and yeah it would help the crew try and find more missions, because they have to wait, but could just make everyone start afking.

It sounds like a good idea, but might eventually just end up as a nuisance

I believe this is a great idea and would be a big improvement to the immersion.

I'm expecting this to become a nuisance.

People may not have area's to explore at the time they upgrade or repair the ship.
Being Gamer's they'll probably want to explore everything regardless.
And then if they repair in an area they've already explored their just left sitting around waiting.
