some more ideas: space hulk / aliens style head cameras,

ideas:

1) video screen to see other people like in space hulk, and aliens,
prone to interference and white noise if people die.

2) a mirror to see appearance in living quarters,

3) better people tracking and mini map radar on planets,

4) a view screen for outside at the various stations, so i can see pilots view / cinematic ship view without having to man the guns in tactical,

5)escape pods for roleplay and allow the game to continue. escape pods to a planet or hold in space until picked up / emergency beacon. lets people keep the experience /money

6) ability to add a wav file before (and maybe after speaking) on voip, atm i do this with morphvox pro, basically its a soundboard so when i press cntrl i get the st tos badge sound when i speak. you can also have radio static

7) a transporter role to emergency beam out linked to having head cameras to 1) monitor people if they get into trouble the engineering officer can beam people back to ship. with dialog "do you wish to beam out now?" yes no and 2 min cooldown.

another idea would be allowing 1 to 3 observers in a game,

this means if someone has to leave the captain can grab an observer straight into the position needed.

that could allow for machinima camera men,
