how about integrating more ftl style combat / enemies?
so enemy ships have a variety of lethal abilities
I know some of it is already implemented
but there is something interesting about pcg / random ability enemies.

FTL would definitely be a good source of inspiration! At higher chaos levels in PULSAR, some drones develop special modifiers, like swift, armored and elite. Perhaps this is somewhat similar? In any case, thanks for the suggestion!
