Don't get me wrong, I like this game to bits.
That is exactly the reason why I come here and feedback. =)
I am playing Pulsar for a good while now, and I am continually annoyed by how shiny everything is.
Does everything really have to so shine?
In my opinion it makes everything look unnecessary cheap.
I like to see a lot more matte in the game, instead of having everything reflect light back at the player.

Re: Overall game aesthetics (everything shines)
There's a lot of metal in the game, and some ships and locations are probably shinier than others, especially depending on grime (or lack thereof). We're not keen on reducing the smoothness value on every metal material in the game, apologies. However, if you have specific examples of things that you think are too shiny, we can certainly consider tweaking it.

wood seems to always be wet, that might be seen as shiny
