Change Piloting Boost Activation Method

The new boost ability is great, but the method of activation is really frustrating. As it is now, the boost gets activated by accident very frequently. This causes the ship to veer off suddenly when doing fine maneuvers such as pulling into a repair bay with maneuvering thrusters. I understand that you can't just have a single button for boost because then you can't boost in any direction. What I'd suggest is using a key (like shift for example) that you hold down, and then press the direction you want to move in. Yes, this might be a bit cumbersome as (on default controls) you'd have to hold RMB and shift while pushing a direction to boost, but the frustration of accidental boost activation leaves me wishing that the feature didnt exist at all.

Shift shouldn't do anything while piloting anyway, and its close to the default keys.
The only issue I can see is if non-keyboard&mouse controls have "Sprint" used as a piloting control

Also Sheep veering off is always annoying
