You're saving up scrap for a thermocore reactor and you're only 3 pieces away when someone joins as a weapons specialist and decides that their W.D. Prototype weapon needs to be level 10. In a matter of seconds, your massive stockpile is gone and you have to reload a save and ban that person when they try to join again. The component and weapon upgrade stations should have a lock similar to the blind jump system so this can't happen.
