Update Frequency

Post by ADDMonkey » Thu Oct 02, 2014 12:09 am

I just bought the game and was really impressed so I convinced my friend to get it too, which she did. Had a good time with it so far. I had to convince her to get it cause she was kind of shell shocked from her experience with Stomping Lands (what a disaster).

Anyways what kind of update frequency can we expect. Every few months or so?

Just curious cause the forums seem pretty quiet and don't want to get too anxious.

Based on how far apart each devlog is from eachother I'd say there's one or two updates every month or so.

It seems to have been a while since the last update on August 26th. Hopefully there will be an update for October.

Yeah, definitely seems like they're starting a decline in frequency. I got way too comfortable with the two updates per month.

I'm hoping this means the next update is going to be HUGE. :p

Yea, me too, the devs have been quite quiet as of late, so i do really hope that this next update will be huge. Possibly the update for the captain, because we've already had some for the pilot, science and weapons, and the engineer seems to be well off for now, so i'd assume this next one would be for the captain.

Yeah this is the longest period of time we've gone since an update, rest assured we are still working on the game, and have a few very large systems to introduce in the next patch, we aren't planning on making this frequency a habit though and hope to move to something of a 2+ updates a month schedule again soon.

Hope that helps!

Sounds good.
As you guys are the last game that is still alive that I helped fund (Stomping Land, Starforge both complete disasters) I have complete faith in you guys :)

This game is on the top of my want list :D

^ I am with you there. Starforge.....what a waste. My only other hopeful game is Space Engineers since I gave up on Dayz.... :(

Really hope this game hits on at least most of the ideas being considered.
