Should my friends and I buy this game?

Post by zeropoint77 » Thu Oct 15, 2015 4:34 pm

So my friends and I don't have much money as we are just kids, but should we buy this game? It looks very fun, but i've heard some people say there is not a lot of content in the game, will this game continue to grow, or will it just parish like other games? So should we buy it?

Hey there,
i play this game since July and had the first 2 months realy much fun in exploring the Game.
Learning the diffrent classes, exploring the Maps and getting better as a team in a space ship.

It is true, that the game is missing some more end content. But thats normal for a Game in this state of develoment.
I am sure there will come more, but how long its gona take...uuhmm not sure ;)

So I say...
yes, it will grow and
yes, you already can have much fun with your friends.
+
there is a fully working online mode.

An other Tipp for you: Many ppl visit the official Teamspeak server of this Game, to find a online crew.
Its much easyer to play with people, when you can actually speak with them.

greetings from Germany,
hope I could help you ;)

There are more and more every few months

Currently there are 3 factions out of 5 that have ships

Colonial Union = the government: currently 2 ships
WD = huge company: currently 2 ships
Alliance of Gentlemen = space pirates: currently 1 ship

There is also one more faction called the fluffy biscuit company who don't have a ship, yet

The final faction: The polytechnic is a secret faction and probley won't get a starter ship, but might be found and stolen in game

I'd say, if you like Science-Fiction, teamwork gameplay, spaceships blowing up and if you were hyped for the upcoming CIG's crowd-funded Star Citizen, then this game is for you. It offer a multi-crew ship experience no other games has delivered so far.

However It is still in developement and the content and variety is lacking.

The devs appear to be dedicated and it seems to me that we will see a entertaining finished version (there's always a risk with early-access games).

Youtube is your friend. Learn as much as you can about the game, and if you like what you see, this is a no-brainer, go for it!
