Hi there, my name is Jon Bon.
I've been a huge fan of video games since my early childhood year on NES. Pulsar has fulfilled one of my life long desires for experiences within a video game.
I definitely love where this game is so far, and look very much forward to the future of its design.
My wife and I both have copies, and play together with a few friends of ours. While we play we often dream of other content we wished was included. Thus I decided to register here and post some of our ideas/suggestions.

Keep up the great work guys!

Hello,

I just bought the game to play in VR with a friend who has had it for a while. I couldn't get the UI to work properly. The mouse pointer would go away when I moved from the left hand menu options to the right side selections they would open. I'd then be able to blindly highlight things by moving my head around.

Can anyone point me to a good UI thread that might deal with these issues? I'm using an Oculus Rift with touch controls. I've got a GFX 1080 TI.

I must be missing a trick somewhere. I can see my touch controls in the game, but the pointer is very iffy on when it shows up.

***Mostly figured out. Oculus owners! Make sure you start the game in Oculus mode and not Steam VR mode. Seems obvious. I'm a dunce.***

Hi, my name is Tom.

I found out about Lost Colony just two weeks ago. I've been doing lan parties since the mid 90's. I'm just fortunate to have a handful of friends who are regular guests to "twice a month" network gaming in my man-cave. We had been getting into Star Trek Bridge Crew, and several of us have headsets. One of my friends suggested we look at Pulsar Lost Colony - and then we had our longest gaming session ever (we shut down at 3:00 - hours later than we normally stop).

Everybody loves the game - although the VR support seems a little rough. It's a great game even without VR - but the VR needs some work. Even in its current state, it's one of the best games I've ever seen - tons of potential. Thanks

Hello! I signed up recently, but currently have 200+ hours in-game. I love PULSAR, and have enjoyed the ride so far. :D

Bullethead here: Just got the game. The concept sounds fun and I look forward to seeing you all out in space!

Starting making all the suggestions without an introduction post :p.

I suppose the best thing to explain me as, a casual gamer that gets intense on one game at a time.
I'm someone who's spent thousands of hours into League and Dota 2, but over time I just knew everything and got bored of the same stuff happening over and over. And if I know everything, I usually like to experiment with other things other than the 'meta' at the moment to see if there's anything else that works.

A space game never really clicked with me until PULSAR. I've had fun screwing around in a couple of others, but I've never invested 60+ hours in 2 weeks into one. I'm having fun trying to see what's the best build for a ship because currently there isn't a website like MOBAfire for me to look up what I should be doing. I'm having to figure out everything on my own, and that's what makes these small games like this special imo. I get to talk to a group of 4 other people and get their opinions on what to do.

Dunno what else I'd want to say tbh. Anything relevant anyways :p
