Improved Scanner/Colorblind mode

The scanner is difficult to read on even a good monitor and high resolution. The colors of the blips will blend together if they overlap which can lead to false positives of research and item pickups. This is especially confusing when a inaccessible npc is below the map. The npc looks like research that is above or below you.

It would be helpful to assign symbols to the different blips instead of just colors. This would help differentiate them and make them discernible on low resolution and small monitors.

It would also be helpful to have an indicator on a blip to tell you whether it is above or below you. As it is, it's just confusing and unintuitive.

This is a big ask but could you also add a mapping function to the scanner? That would help in large and confusing locations like Cornelia station and Madman's Mansion.
