There is a bug with the messages that pop up when you transfer items between players or fail processing scrap 3 times where if the player name includes HTML tags the text affected by the HTML does not fade away.
the fix for this is below

this.TimedMsgText.color = PLInGameUI.FromAlpha(this.TimedMsgText.color, this.TimedMsgBG.color.a);
if (this.TimedMsgText.canvasRenderer != null)
a similar bug also happens with the message on the left side causing it to fade unevenly.
