PULSAR: Lost Colony Forums

Symptom: Previously completed missions (confirmed as showing under the "Completed" section) suddenly report as Failed, resulting in mass reputation loss. These missions then appear under Failed rather than Completed.
Replication: Unknown - on reloading and trying to warp back to the same sector issue may not replicate. So far has occurred on entering previously unexplored Random sectors.

Submitted through in-game bug report with save file but posting here in case anyone else has seen this replicate. This is a bizarre one for sure and frustrating.

Just a quick update:

Most, but not all, of the missions that fail are ones with a requirement to Complete within <x> jumps.

I don't recall but due to the unique name of one of the ships found in this sector, this may have been from a previous Grey Huntsman contract that had been declined.

We will look into the "Complete with (x) jumps" objective type (and missions in general) and make sure it doesn't trigger improperly

This issue can happen if you lose crew alingment as it seems the game still checks for that even after the mission is complete
