Re: Devlog #16 is up!
I love the behind the scenes videos! Its nice to see how the game is actually made and how it looks at the start compared to the finished item.

Re: Devlog #16 is up!
The infested are probably the scariest thing to me in the game so far, so its really cool to see the thought process behind designing them!
Cant wait to see more, guys!

Its a good thing to have in the background when you're not showing something else in-game. I liked it.

Re: Devlog #16 is up!
I've never actually seen how animation is done for a video game, so seeing the design process for the tentacle was neat!

These are the reason im scared of itCyrus wrote:The infested are probably the scariest thing to me in the game so far, so its really cool to see the thought process behind designing them!

Reason 1: its a squid like infested organic BIG thing thats trying to kill you. Usually big things that try to kill you n places like te ocean scary the average human. space is similar
Reason 2: there strong and hostile. The fact that if your attacked by this will most likley mean death is... scary
Reason 3: very little known. If theres a big squid monster floating around in space and theres like nothing about it. YOU WOULD BE SCARED
theses are really just why I am scared just opinions.

Reasons 1 &3 I agree with, but not number 2, because obviously my crew and my ship are gonna kick some serious butt against the monster! In a topic on the suggestion side, it discussed how we can indirectly dissect Leviathan (as i would like to name giant octopus monsters) by studying on dead bodies of creatures that boarded your ship. For extension, if we destroyed the Leviathan without damaging it organs, a crew could drag off into emptiness of space where they won't be bothered while surveying the corpse upon a scientist ship coming into the system where last report of a Leviathan died in battle. If the ship is persistent and pursed or bribed, the crew would make a good breakthrough and they can improve their ship and/or make a data of their discovery on paper to be publish to the place where all things considered science take place to verify the facts made by the crews. After verify, they paid the crew for the job well done.
