Ship Creation

Let me preface this by saying I absolutely adore this game. I feel like there is not enough advertisement for it; I only found it a while ago by searching for "coop space games" and looking through forums. It is a favorite of mine and my friends. I don't know what the current development story is, but I wish that it had more publicity and support.

That said, there is one thing I really really wish was possible: a beginning custom ship designer. Somewhat surprisingly, I did not see this suggestion in the list of common ideas.

Anyway, I love turning creativity into something tangible, and I wish that I could build a ship in this game.

I would recommend as much freedom as possible, with perhaps a "point system" where players are allocated a certain number of points and choosing a component takes points from that pool, so that players have to make sacrifices. I would be cool if, in general, using such a system creates a below-average ship, or perhaps doing so starts players on a higher Chaos level. I feel like players should also be free to choose their starting allegiance.

For instance, I wish that I could build a generalist ship that looks similar to the Interceptor, has a couple auto turrets, and the stealth system. For a generalist ship with many systems, I would have to sacrifice the maximum number or quality of components (perhaps max 2 auto turrets, 1 missile, max 2 weapons, lower-than average shield/hull, etc.).

The idea of building a ship is quite good, I usually spend my free time playing games, playing games and trying different games is what I like the most, I usually choose free games, basketballlegends game is one of my favorite favorite games, I have fun playing these and similar games.
